Congrats to the following gold medal winning students! Their outstanding projects were selected for the Canada-wide Science Fair which took place in Toronto in May, 2011

·Arbind Kaur Dhaliwal ( Mrs. R. Tiwana’s Grade 9 Honors Program) won for her project that focused on cutting down on the use of paper cups used in Tim Hortons etc.

· Gurmeen Banipal and Charanpreet Mahal ( Mrs. Ghag’s Grade 8 Science class and student leaders of the Vector Science Club) won for their project on the potential of bacteria converting muddy water into clean water to produce electricity.

· Our Science teacher who sponsored a winning project with national or international potential this year was Mrs. P.Ghag. Congratulations for winning the BCIC (Innovation) Award
