Abbotsford Arbour Day Celebration 2011

City of Abbotsford celebrated Arbour Day on May 13, 2011.  In addition to celebrate the importance of trees in our community, there were many contests, demonstrations and hands on activities for education and fun.  Grade 1 students from Dasmesh Punjabi School participated in the poster and slogan contest.  Gurleen K. Chahil won the first prize in the slogan contest.  Avnoor K.Sidhu and Prabpal S.Bhullar won the third prize in the poster competition.
